I would strongly recommend spending atleast 6-8 weeks working on your apps. Particularly if you are looking at top colleges. The finesse of those apps is what separates the acceptances from the rejects. It’s truly quality over quantity. It’s not hectic work but guided self reflection will really make a strong narrative. You can work through some parts of the story alongside prep.

The ISB admissions team and students are super helpful. I urge everyone keen on applying to reach out/ go for an on campus visit(if possible) and then work on your apps. It’s a game changer in my opinion.
