• Do you have any weaknesses? If yes, how can you turn it into a strength?
• What is your motivation for coming back to India when you seem to be doing well in your career at SGP?
• Outside work, what motivates you in life?
• Why would students want you to be a part of the ISB cohort
• Mechanical Engineering - > Software Dev - > Business Analyst - > Helping in your family business: and now you want to pursue MBA. All of this in a span of 4 years. Can you please explain your motivation for the career choices.
• You already have 2 levels of CFA. How will this certification help you in your post MBA role of Consulting?
• Why not start building your startup idea immediately post MBA instead of waiting for a few years post MBA?
• Have you contemplated joining an early-stage company as an Associate PM, instead of spending time and money on an MBA and post that joining as a PM. Can you explain the ROI calculations that you have done.
• Have you ever had disagreements with a fellow colleague / classmate. If yes, explain the situation and how you handled it?
• Why are you on a Leave of Absence from your current organization?
Note : This is probably an extremely small subset of overall spectrum questions as it is based on the debriefs of 3 applicants whom we mentored. Hence, don’t analyze the questions too much and rather focus on your own prep.
