My Profile for evaluation:
Female, 3 years work experience
Academic & Professional Experience
1. Completed my 10th Grade (CBSE) in 2017, securing 93.40%.
2. Completed my 12th Grade (CBSE) securing 90.20%.
3. Completed my Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore in 2023, with a CGPA of 8.62/10.
4. Completed a two-month internship at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), gaining exposure to industrial operations and the manufacturing processes of transformers.
5. Completed a two-week on-site internship at the Electric Loco Shed, North Central Railways, gaining exposure to electric locomotives and their manufacturing.
6. Joined Tata Passenger Electric Mobility (TPEM), Tata Motors in 2023 as a Graduate Engineer Trainee – Purchase and have completed 37 months of full-time professional experience with the organization. I progressed to Senior Manager – Purchase, taking on increasing responsibilities across strategic procurement and supplier management for Tata.ev’s electric vehicle programs.
7. Currently part of the Strategic Procurement team for Software-Defined Vehicles at TATA.ev, handling strategic sourcing of critical electrical and electronic commodities for EV passenger vehicles, including HV wiring harnesses, speakers, antennas, PCB-related components, infotainment peripherals, licenses and software.
8. Manage end-to-end strategic procurement activities including supplier management, RFQ execution, commercial and cost negotiations, cost productivity, supplier benchmarking, cross-functional stakeholder management and process improvement across EV programs.
9. Developed a PCB Costing Framework for black-box electronic components, including BMS, by drilling down costs beyond Tier-1 to Tier-2 and Tier-3 suppliers. The framework covers PCB fabrication, BOM components, assembly, testing and overheads, enabling supplier benchmarking and fact-based commercial negotiations.
10. Achieved a 30% cost reduction through the PCB Costing Framework, translating into an estimated ₹25 Cr annual savings.
11. Led a High-Voltage Cable Cost Reduction program across EV platforms through detailed cost breakdowns and scope decomposition with Tier-1 and Tier-2 suppliers. Identified cost drivers across connectors, cables, charging systems and CCS2 interfaces and implemented reverse-auction techniques for high-impact components.
12. Enabled alternate supplier introduction, localization and adoption of modular CCS2 architectures as part of the HV cable cost-reduction strategy, improving scalability and supply resilience and delivering an estimated ₹30 Cr annual savings across EV platforms.
13. Built an interactive Power BI dashboard as part of the Data Champion Training capstone project to analyze EV Vehicle Off Road (VOR) incidents, particularly battery-related failures. Segmented trends by geography, vehicle platform, failure type and technical root causes, enabling data-driven prioritization of corrective and preventive actions.
I also serve as an MSA (Manufacturing Site Assessment) Auditor, where I participate in comprehensive assessments of supplier manufacturing sites. This provides me with exposure to the functioning of an organization across multiple levels and functions — from HR, finance and management processes to manufacturing operations and shop-floor execution. The role has given me a broader understanding of how different functions within a company work together, how processes are governed, and how business operations translate from executive-level decisions to on-ground execution.
