Are you managing or supporting the digital tools, platforms, or systems (CRM, sales enablement software, demand planning tools, trade promotion management systems, etc.)that the company’s international sales team relies on to do its job?
Try to aim for a 675+, but more important would be understanding how you should speak about your goals and vision. What motivates you, whether you think critically about the work you do, what you have learned from it, and why a PGP is the right next step for you.

Feel free to reach out for a deeper evaluation

Best wishes

You need to improve your score. What is your motivation for doing the PGP. Profiles are evaluated in the context of your goals. The older the applicants the higher the expectation in terms of having that clarity.

Hi Folks, request help in evaluating my profile .

GMAT FE Score- 585
Age- 35 years

I am currently working as a senior manager in advertising sales with an overall experience of 11 years. I have primarily worked in sales, helping platforms to monetize and scale the revenue. Have closed large deals and have executed projects across both traditional and digital media channels.

Along with corporate experience, I have 1-year experience in entrepreneurship. I started an ecommerce portal in selling new and pre- owned books. I was a part of the founding team and handled the business, operations and marketing function.

During college days, was a part of the placement cells and have won multiple inter college competitions.

I would have liked to read more about your career growth progression (your responsibilities/the nature of the work and how you have mobilised things with your contribution). You should know that the adcoms will judge you based on what you have to say about what you have done and how that has shaped your decision to invest further in your professional growth through an MBA.
No matter how good the stats are, if you falter on this aspect, the result could go either way. Getting the shortlist from ISB is really not a big deal if applicants do not do a shoddy job on the essays. But beyond that, the intellect of the applicant makes a lot of difference in the process.
The ECs and other engagements are good, but the substance is not there to give you a read on the profile. Also, if you are working on a startup currently, the adcoms will want to see some kind of validation of the idea with credible supporting parties ( think incubators, investors, mentors, or other credible supporters with proof of concept etc)
Many people look towards MBA programs as exit paths if they are unable to hack growth, but the school cannot accommodate them all. You will really be judged based on what you have been able to achieve in the short span of your career. And that is missing. I would not want to sugarcoat this and lead you towards weaker preparation. Feel free to reach out for a deeper evaluation.

Hi,
Would be extremely grateful if someone could evaluate my profile.

Academics -
- ICSE 93.6%, ISC 97%
- Undergraduate - The University of Hong Kong, Bachelor of Economics and Finance, GPA: 3.62/4.3 (First Class Honors & Deans List, Full Tuition & Accommodation Scholarship recipient)
- GMAT FE - 715

Full-Time Work Experience
- Around 3 years in real estate finance, investments & deals
- 1 promotion to Junior Analyst

Leadership
- Started my own online community to augment knowledge through discussions and speaker sessions. Managed to have a member base of around 500 people from all major continents
- Working on building something in the secondary market for collectibles (watches, sneakers, bags, etc.)

Misc
- Avid sportsman and have been a part of several sports teams in school and uni (Also completed a full marathon but not sure if that will add to the application)
- Born & raised in India but moved to Hong Kong to pursue undergraduate studies and worked there for 3 years after graduation (Also hold an HK PR)
- A con in my application, I feel, is that I have around a year-long gap where I quit my job in HK and decided to move back to India and focus on taking my GMAT and applying to business schools. It is during this time that I started building my startup in the collectibles space

Thanks in advance.
