Branson, you have to submit your financial aid application with the 1 page "scholarship application". The Financial Aid office issues most scholarships I believe.

Ya the financial aid stuff is only after you have been admitted. I think some scholarships go out when people get the call. I havent sent all my finaid stuff in so no clue how that all works out and the turn around time.

bewakoof, you should have gotten it after you submitted Part 1...it does go to spam on some people though. You may want to contact the admissions office to get one.

I wouldnt be surprised if the start making calls the week after DAK...so another week. That will be about the same time line as last round. You could ask this on BW in the ask kellogg thread.

Did someone do this? I need a Kellogg decision, to be able to make my flight arrangements in April...

Hi guys, need some advice on my K application.

My interview was waived on Jan30th, but I got an email yesterday asking me to call the adcom office and setup a phone interview. I guess they are still interested. The easy thing to do would be a phone interview, but would you recommend going on campus for a in-person interview? I have visited the campus once before in Sep07, but it was a weekend and did not meet any adcom members. Anybody in R1/R2 got their interview waived and then invited to interview? Now that they have read my file, is my interview going to be blind?

Branson there is an ask kellogg thread on BW somewhere...they probably wont give dates but I think it was 5 weeks from when I submitted until I was accepted and I was the first here and on BW with an admit so I would assume I was pretty close to the start of the decisions. I am sure they will say something at DAK about this years applications so anything we hear we will let you guys know.

As for phone interviews, I dont know about face to face vs phone. Getting the phone invite is a good sign though since they pick out of the people waived to decide who to set up phone interviews with. If you have the time and means to visit and interview on campus it might be worth it.

So, I did my Kellogg interview too.. My interview was on Friday and by the time I got around sending the thankyou letter it was Tuesday. I was sick and sent my interviewer email as well as a thankyou card. I never heard back from him.. I see him on my gchat but he hasnt' responded to my email..

Is it a bad thing? I don' tknow what to interpret..

Relax. No reason to read into any response (or lack thereof) from an interviewer. Whether an individual responds is that person's choice. My Kellogg interviewer did not respond and I got in. When I interview people at my current firm, I never respond to thank you notes. Just a personal preference.

thanks mba2010 and river...just called up adcom to tell them I want to have a face to face interview on campus. The person flatly declined. So, now I have my phone interview on Feb 28th...Oh man, that's like ages away..And she also told me that the interview is going to be the final one...
