This is what I can see when I log in to check the status of my application.

Quote:
All the required elements of your application are complete.

If your interview has been completed, the application has been submitted for review to the admissions committee. If your interview has not been conducted, the application will be submitted to the admissions committee upon completion of the interview. The next status check update will be the admission decision (Admit, Waitlist or Deny). As the majority of decisions are updated twice a week, we recommend checking the status on Tuesday and Friday, between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Central Standard Time. Please note the majority of decisions will be posted during the last several weeks of the deadline.

My interview is next Monday. I will probably wear my suit for it. I bought it so I should at least get some use out of it.

Lucky you. I have a new suit, a new shirt and a new tie and no interview (yet) to go to :(

I have a question. I got the same message that my application is complete. I know that my recommender just submitted his recommendation today. So, how come it is complete?

Maybe the recommendation letter has the same status of an interview. It can be considered as part of the general application after the initial deadline.

Good luck, river! Tell us all how it goes.

My interviewer has not responded to my e-mail or phone call... I will wait 'til Friday and tell Kellogg to find me another interviewer :?

Any idea when Kellogg starts releasing decisions. Do we only get to know on the deadline or will they call us earlier.

Last year it looked completely random. My advice: Don't despair until the last minute. Last year, R2, I got admitted just 2 days before the decision deadline.

Had my Kellogg interview yesterday with a 2nd year student (on-campus, of course). It was exactly what I expected. He asked me to walk through my resume and stopped me at different points, asking me to elaborate (why that school? why that major?). He asked about a leadership experience, a team experience, about the extracurriculars I had on my resume, why MBA, why Kellogg, etc. The only question I hadn't explicity prepared for was, "If you were to leave for an MBA now, what would your manager miss most about you?" He finished by asking if I had any questions...of course, I had a billion questions since he's actually a current student there. The whole process took about 45 minutes.

I probably could have been more concise in some of my answers, but overall I think it went alright. I guess I won't know until Jan 7th!! (or sometime before if I'm lucky).
