I didn't apply to Booth. For me, nearly all of the programs I decided to apply to had two underlying themes: strong in social enterprise, and known as a very collaborative, community-oriented environment. Kellogg seemed to fit the bill on both of those better than Booth. That's not to say Booth isn't an incredible program -- I'm sure it is. In fact, a colleague of mine is a Booth alum who raves about it. But Kellogg seemed like a better fit in my case.
Also, geography wasn't a big factor for me (beyond wanting to get out of New York for two years). But if I was really set on being in Chicago, I would have probably taken a much closer look at Booth.
