I got an interview waiver in Oct and didn't get an interview invite from Adcom later. I am assuming it is a ding but the Kellogg website still shows "Application Complete" status. Is there anyone who had a similar experience but already got an official ding? I don't understand the reason behind delaying dings for people like me. It will only help us move on and focus on R2 apps. Any thoughts?

Any admitted Kellogg 2009 folks get offered scholarships already?
(you can pretend it was a "friend" if you want)
Or, any current Kellogg students with scholarship mind sharing when they found out?

Thanks!

I haven't heard from anyone who's said they got a scholarship yet. In the Kellogg admitted students thread, riverripper gave an overview of scholarships:

I don't think so. By that I mean I'm the only other JD/MBA candidate that regularly posts here and I have heard nothing either way yet.

After spending most of today trying to write my 2nd Booth essay, I have to say that I am still totally caught up in Kellogg. I give a lot of credit to those of you who were able to put together multiple school applications. When I set my heart and attention on something (in this case, Kellogg) I have a hard time putting my attention on anything else. In this case, I'm just not "feeling" the Booth essays, because I feel like I'm still waiting for the phone to ring on Kellogg.

oiy. Well, good luck, I hope we hear more on Monday.

Aren't we all. I'm not a fan of that second Booth essay.

Hi hope the new year brings good news to all of us. BTW, if you r talking about second essay then you have not thought about 3rd essay the power point one. It led to complete burn out!!
Friends, cheer up and be through with second one.
All the best to all of us with Kellogg results

I believe someone on BW had called the AdCom and they confirmed that decisions will be going out this week...

Someone just wrote on there that its bs. What AO is going to tell an applicant that calls when they are releasing decisions?

There are only six possible days left (including today) for them to release decisions. There's light at the end of the tunnel.

2 pages, 1.9 spacing, condensed 0.2 character spacing, Arial 10 pt font, 1" top, 0.5" left/right, 0.7" bottom margins => 1061 words
OMG, winner winner chicken dinner. That's a lot of words on 2 pages

LOL! Yeah, I think last year I was the "king" of squeezing word count into pages. Too bad Haas forced me to do word counts instead of page limits...

My career goals essay was 1,237 words. Times new Roman size 9 font. 1 inch top margin, .6 inch bottom, and .5 inch left and right.

I would be cautious breaking the 10 pt font boundary. It gets slightly hard to read below 10. But if it works, then more power to you! :)

I actually got in today in a way, but did not get a call. I got an e-mail for an admitted students event in my city, saying "congrats again on being admitted to kellogg" in the message, and was very confused and suspicious given their mishap from earlier this year. So I checked my status, and sure enough, I am in. Called to confirm, and found out they made the decision 10 days ago- for some reason I was never called or e-mailed and told to check my status. Either way, I'm extremely happy so long as they don't call and tell me it was a mistake. Good luck to those still waiting, and maybe check your status in case they forgot to call you too...

Knowing people who read essays...dont go smaller than 10pt font. They read enough stuff if you make it even slightly difficult to read its not going to do you any favors.
