You guys make me nervous. I'm a 710 GMAT, but I think my essays were quite strong. I am getting quite doubtful though. The worst thing is all this waiting and you never get to know "why not".

Sorry about the dings guys.

I can tell you something, anything above approx. 680 is identical to adcoms. I didn't want to believe this, but it's basically true.

yup, I'm a 680 and have been told by every AO that its the magic competitive number. That's the only reason I didn't retake.

Good luck to everybody waiting to hear from Kellogg today. If you get waitlisted today, don't give up. There's still hope.

Riverripper or any other current students: Any idea what percentage of waitlisters get in historically?

Good luck to those waiting to hear decisions today.

As for people who are on the WL, I have no clue what the chances are. It really changes year to year. With all these additional applicants, it all depends on how accurate their estimate of their yield will be. If they overestimate getting off the WL will be much easier than if they underestimate.

If I don't respond to a PM that is not one of the previously mentioned trash can destined messages, please don't take it personally I get so many messages I have a hard to responding to most. The more interesting, compelling, or humorous you message the more likely I am to respond.

Well I just submitted my Booth application, so Murphy's law indicates that I will soon hear from Kellogg. It's like when you get up to go to the bathroom at a restuarant and then your food comes.

Good luck everyone.

Email, but status may have changed first. I was just in a meeting up until I got the email, so I'm not sure.

Finally Kellogg has decided to let me know on my status... as expected, it was a WL...

Clearly Kellogg is my first choice, and I would do whatever it takes to convert my WL into an admit...

Good Luck to rest of you folks still waiting...

I know some schools require a min 72dpi (I believe CBS does). I wouldn't go lower than that.
