Sleepy - sorry to hear it! Best of luck moving forward. Did you apply to any other schools?

yeah, waiting on georgetown next week and I sent in CBS and Ross for round 2, but I'm gonna just assume I'm getting all dings and try to figure out a way to move my career forward which is pretty obviously going to involve finding a new company to work for since my current company is locked into a very strict experience table.

Sleepy - don't get too down. I got dinged from K, but got into Duke, and I think I have a good shot at Ross. Don't lose hope on Ross or CBS. Georgetown is a great program too! I am sure one will come through for you.

This is only the beginning, not the right time to rethink anything. It's Jan 7th only. Let's hold out a little hope!

Let's go Georgetown!

I agree.

Remember, this is just one school. As much as so many people want to go to Kellogg, there are only so many slots, and this was an incredibly hard year to apply. There are numerous schools out there, including those that you have and others have applied to, that can result in just as great of an experience and career post-graduation.

Don't lose hope, and don't let this get you down. Just use it as ammunition to continue to pursue your goals. Nothing worth getting is ever easy, don't give up!

If I ever raise a kid, I am gonna send her to school where they have all the CIA and anti-Soviet Union prep classes that you went through! He/she will get into any MBA in the future!

Thanks. Have to lean on inner strength to put this into perspective. I had really set my hopes on this, and I am actually a bit insulted that I didn't even get waitlisted. So for all you guys on the waitlist, I hope you bug the hell out of the adcom to get your way in.

At least I finished the Booth app today, but that is definitely a stretch for me too.

So for now, I will process my way through the stages of grief. Let the anger phase begin...

Hey I know its your first post but congrats...judging by your join date its been a longer process for you than many people who decided last year to apply. Heck your MBA dream predates mine.

Hope you make it to DAK.
