Oh geeze.. look what I started.

Sorry guys, I didn't really get in - was just making a light remark about getting a call (from someone else). I don't think any calls have gone out.

Well its tuesday and I'm sure there would be some decisions/calls released today. I'm still waiting for the off campus telephonic interview invite. My interview had been waived off.

Any news on calls out as yet ?

I think they call if you are in, update the site if you are out... not sure on the time it occurs.

But perhaps someone in the know can update us on that.

Just to understand what happens when you are waitlisted at kellogg? When does the decision typically come out for a waitlisted candidate ? As in will a candidates wait be as long as the next round deadline?

Sam, you need to be more careful what you write. I just got the call I am in....then saying something about being behind on your rent and needing a post-mba salary sure sounds like you got the admit. Way to get all the R1 applicants who saw that psyched only to crush their hopes :twisted:

As for timeline, at first people were getting calls before online updates. I would say at first it was a day or two before online status changed. Later in the round people occasionally had online status changes before calls. The online status would say something about requiring official transcripts. People who had something about unknown status or something else...Basically their status would change from what it is now to something else not about official transcripts...that meant they were going to be dinged shortly.

Waitlist: its possible to stay on that into the summer. If you get WL in R1 you might not get in or dinged until after R3 next year.

Wanted to thank you for sharing the insights and helping us ('09 applicants). I have just found this board and been digging through the previous posts. This is definitely a more Kellogg team spirited board than the BW one (so abrasive)...

Also judging from last yr's thread, would you say the admit decision roll out is roughly (see below:)?

1Wk: 5% *high stats candidates
2Wk: 20% *first week for int students
3Wk: 40% *first week for dings
4Wk: 0% *no dings during X'mas
5Wk: 35% *most WLs and status change about official transcript requirement
