I'm in too for R1.

I am an applicant from India. Got an interview waiver on 24/10. No request for telephonic interview as yet.

Is anyone else in a similar situation ? By when can we expect off campus interview calls to end?

Looks like its gonna be a ding this time !

Hi, I am in for R1 too.
I did interview with alumni. I am based in India. BTW, was curious to know how many Indians typically get into Kellogg? Just curious as I have non traditional profile and fall in older applicant category.
Thanks and best of luck to every one.

There are a lot of Indians here but very few lived and worked in India, most seem to have been born or at least raised in the US since they were very little. A lot of the other Indians also seem to have worked overseas either in the US or some other location. There are definitely some who were living and working in India before school but only a fraction of Indians here fall into that group.

It depends on your definition of 'a lot'...I actually think there are a decent amount of Indians who were born/raised in India.

Basically, what I am trying to say is Kellogg has a strong Indian community filled with Indians from all backgrounds. I would imagine that most of the UE schools are pretty consistent with the percentage of native Indians in each class.

Hello, I'm brand spanking new to GMAT Club.
I'm in for Kellogg R1 as well- please add me to the list.

I actually have my interview on-campus next week, so I'll write up a post about it when it's over.

Best of luck to all!

Hey just curious so posting this and would request reply from current Kellogg students so steel, river please give your inputs:

Firstly, what % of people who get interview waivers get an interview invite ? (For instance they give waivers to 1000 people and then send interview invite to approx 100 people. I know its an abstract question but still would welcome your thoughts)

Next, people who receive interview invites after a waiver get an email that states on "On review of your application we would like to interview you" , so how does their evaluation differ from people in United states who just have to schedule an interview ?

I mean how is the decision for people who receive an invite after the waiver given , Is it just on the basis of the interview or its again application essays + interview ?

Hi MBA. This is all fairly black-box stuff with respect to the Kellogg adcom. From what I understand the answer to your question often varies by round and year. There is no strict % of people who get invites. Also, it is unclear for any applicant how much the interview weights in vs. the application as a whole. I would imagine that just like anywhere, the interview is only one component and your admission is based on all components of the application.

I know, not a very helpful answer, but admissions keeps these sorts of things fairly tight to the vest.
