For reference...last years 1st page had all the results. https://gmatclub.com/forum/103-p348103?t=49477#p348103

29 applicants in R1, 11 admits...9 of us are actually here.

5 waitlists, two of whom are now at HBS and two at GSB (no clue on the other).

Reading through the dings I spot folks who ended up at great schools like Wharton, Ross, Haas, Duke, and Sloan...so those who dont get into Kellogg, chin up.

Make sure during this tense time you don't forget your priorites. Like filling your car up with gas.

I ran out of gas this morning at a busy intersection. I was jamming to some Beyonce, picturing my Kellogg acceptance call, when my car stopped moving.

Hi Solar, thought you'd be interested in knowing that I just got back from the Clean Tech Trek in San Francisco. Visited some awesome companies including Sunpower, Tioga, Recurrent, (all solar companies), SilverSpring, Chevron Energy Solutions, BP Alternative Energy, and PG&E. Also, I know River is big into energy as well.

So just checked the Kellogg website, turns out that the final decision date for R1 is 1/7.

That's a whole two weeks longer than my other schools! Boo. :?

Yeah, but it says "Decision rendered by...". So you could hear as early as next week based on past GC decisions.

How did you do on RC? We beat this subject to death for the last month for you guys/gals. Unless there is a sudden and huge policy change decisions will be released on an ongoing manner. Last I heard, rumor was "after thanksgiving" which if last year is an indication next week people will start getting in.

Don't worry guys, not much longer.

That sounds like a great trip! I spoke with several Kellogg students from the energy club when I visited and they were pretty pumped about the clean-tech trek. Sounds like it was a great success! Were the companies accepting any resumes?

I know - I've been reading the thread. For some reason on my app spreadsheet, I had down the decision date as 12/19. And of course the final date isn't 12/19 but 1/7. Let's hope it's good news and we all hear well before then!

The way the treks work is that all of the companies get your resumes as part of the trek. A few of the companies actually have internship programs (PG&E and SilverSpring), Chevron had one for their overall company, and the rest do it case by case.

Chevron has 3 seperate paths. Finance, Global Gas, and then Marketing. You can get into the renewables from any of them but its all good luck to get into those since they are pretty popular these days.

Note, BP is not hiring interns this year. They are restructing their program but should bring it back next year. I talked to a few people and they will be hiring fulltime though next year.

After your interview, does your application status change from "submitted" to "complete"?

Just had my interview last Wednesday, so I am curious as to if there is anyway to tell when my interviewer has submitted his eval.
