Not recruiting for it but I know deloitte has a big operations practice. McKinsey also hires for operations. There are others I am sure...not to the level of strategy but there are operations jobs.

I had my interview yesterday on the telephone. Questions were similar to the ones already mentioned here. After the interview i was told that i would get my result in January. So no early results this season ?

The adcom member that interviewed me said they are hoping to start releasing decisions in mid-December.

Just received an invitation from Kellogg adcoms to join a Kellogg student gathering to be held in Milan on Dec 22nd. Two questions come in mind:

1. Will anyone of you be around on that occasion (River, mgoblue2, ...)? I'd love to meet!

2. Does this mean anything as per my admission chances? It does not, I know, just a bit tad anxious :)

do we have any more on campus intel on when they'll start comming out with decisions? I know River said they were preping packets and the admit website. Any updates?

I've been following the GMAT Club threads for the R1 schools that I applied to but haven't made any posts myself. I was hoping to ask a question. There are a variety of recent posts on here referencing admission decisions that people expect to start getting. Is there any reason why you expect those will start going out when the official R1 decision date is January 7th to my knowledge? Just curious....thanks for your input.

I just had my R1 interview this morning with a Kellogg alum. Very nice guy and all the questions were pretty standard about my career path, why Kellogg/MBA, and leadership/team experiences. No real curveballs, and I think it went fairly well.

Kellogg practices rolling admission , last year the first admits went out right after thanksgiving, with the first dings shortly following

they've said they feel comfortable with how the application pool is shaping up so we're expecting the rolling to start soon. also because thanksgiving is so late this year this week wouldn't be overly early given last year's dates.

Last year gmatclub admits came out ranging from November 27th all the way to 5:53 on deadline day.

Just Curious how do they give you a reject ? If you don't get any email or phone call by the deadline..does your status change automatically to denied ?.... I am expecting this so confirming :)....probably i am the youngest in the applicant pool...

I got my interview email about two weeks after I submitted part 2, maybe a bit less. I lucked out and was able to schedule the actual interview a week after that. Now I wait...

Update - Kellogg's website now contains a link for Admitted Students. The link doesn't lead anywhere, but it's there! So perhaps Decisions will be forthcoming shortly after the holiday!

Have my interview with an alum tomorrow afternoon! :shock:

It takes a few weeks to get your packet in the mail. So even if you get in next week, you wont get the stuff until mid december so you wont be able to get on the website earlier than that.
