Sleepy - I thought my Kellogg interview was the worst interview I had given in my life. Evidently, Kellogg didn't see it that way.

Don't fear from your impressions on a interview. Often, they are looking for cues from the interview that you might not pick up on even yourself amidst the actual interview itself.

OKAY

I am officially calling this "first admit" a hoax!

After a thorough investigation (which involved actually registering an account with admission 411 site), there isn't a trace of anyone getting admitted yet!

In fact I was suspicious because if someone indeed get a call, I had to ask myself why I didn't get anything. (My ego talking - started when I scored 770 on GMAT :-D . with Magna Cum Laude undergrad degree + my good looks....who can say no to me??)

Fact #1 - Businessweek forum refers to someone reporting admit in stat page in Admission 411 forum. (Not actual post of person claiming to receive the call)

fact # 2 - Admission 411 forum for Northwestern has ZERO posts

Fact #3 - I turned the stat page on Admission 411 Northwestern page into PDF (which i attached here). Person won't reveal his/her forum name and easily that person could have said accepted for no reason whatsoever. Why would anyone update this one stat page and not update anything on forum/post etc???

fact #4 - Second person who posted that admit calls started claims to KNOW someone that did get the call.....That isn't reliable whatsoever.

well...there was an error on my resume....and it just went down hill from there. I'm pretty sure it was bad.

Yeah I was thinking either a hoax, or a part-time applicant. I find it hard to believe that NOBODY on either this forum or the Businessweek forum would have received a call if calls already began.

I'm going to give that person the benefit of doubt and assume it was a part-time or 1Y applicant. I am still convinced that calls are going out sometime this week.

Hahaha.. I love the speculation. The fact is, if calls have started to go out or not, it doesn't change anything. None of us, at this point, have any way to affect our application. The decision will comes when it comes...

That said - I don't think they have started calling, but I sure as hell want to know if they have! :wink:

I reversed looked it up....it came from some guys house outside of chicago. Unless he is an adcom member, I do not know what the odds of something like this happening ha Im going to go outside and call it back
