I think I have ulcer due to Earl Marsh-fiasco....

This was happening between the time Terp posted his 815 number call entry and up until 15 minutes ago:

Me: [constantly clicking and clicking to refresh my browser to see if Kellogg forum was updated]

Then my fingers started to hurt and I opened by Microsoft VB 2005 editor and started writing VB.net macro code for my internet explorer so this would automatically refresh every 5 seconds until I force stop it.

Then when terp said something about calling back 4 times but the line was busy....I began to think it really was Kellogg call - busy trying to contact other admits...

Then I realized my phone wasn't ringing....

I began to doubt and question myself:

"Maybe I wasn't good enough for Kellogg..."

"Perhaps I should have wore my lucky pink tie to my kellogg interview and that could have been the difference..."

"Stupid Dartmouth...if they admitted me back in 2001 as undergrad, i wouldn't have NYU on my transcript and I would look like better candidate.....hate you Tuck!!! No I don't...I take it back..I still love you ...until I get your reject letter...at least"

"Should I call Kellogg and pretend that someone from kellogg admin office just called but I missed it and Beth Flye left voicemail......."

Now I can breathe little easier.....but ulcer....I might have it.....or is this from that weird looking sandwich from lunch????

I'm hoping that we get news prior to my performance review. I know my manager is going to bring this up. Tomorrow would be even better. We have our office Christmas party and planning meeting. It would be the perfect chance to celebrate....

so looks like they extend the offer to the star candidates first (GMAT 760 and 770)... mine is going to take a while i guess :roll:

Guys, note the calls come from an unknown number and they definitely will leave voicemail. So if you miss a call and dont get voicemail its not Kellogg.

Friday is often a big call day, so hopefully someone hears tomorrow. However, remember very few calls are made in the first few days. It picks up in another week or two.

Guys, note the calls come from an unknown number and they definitely will leave voicemail. So if you miss a call and dont get voicemail its not Kellogg.

Since it appears as if admits have begun to (albeit slowly) roll out, I would assume that my chances of receiving the email for a telephone interview are slim to none. Perhaps a current student - river, steel, mgoblue - could confirm/deny my assumptions?

Hey coadman, I had my phone interview just completed on 2nd of Dec, so I wouldn't be discouraged just because some offers are released...

as far as I'm concerned, before the decision release date, you are still game.

In preparation for my interview, I'm wondering whether it's worth buying the Clear Admit Interview Guide. Has anybody looked at the guide before?

I know it's only $20, but times are bad and I need to eat next week :(

I think for interviewing, you can look up the information pretty easily. Try looking for people's report, or even look at clear admit's wiki. I interviewed with them already, let me know if you need any info. I've posted my interview before.

Yeah I had a telephone interview in Last week of november. Its a blind interview. If you want some specific info, please let me know i would update you.

I would really like to believe it is random. If your logic pans out, I should've been one of the very first to get a call. I haven't yet (of course, I'm conveniently assuming that Kellogg will call me eventually!).

Maybe they ain't feelin' lucky yet.

I had a phone interview. It lasted about 40-45 mins. The interviewer does not have access to your file. Its like any other alumni interview except that its over the phone and it could be with a member of the adcom.

I would prefer a face to face interview anyday, much easier to make an impression, but well.

Let me know if you need any specific info about my interview.

I'm from Malaysia.

Mine told me that they would specifically have access to my file. That it wasn't a blind interview. :(

Good or bad?

I would love to know what were the areas that they covered. What are they likely to cover if it's NOT a blind interview?
