For all those that interviewed on-campus, how was your experience? The students were really nice and friendly. However, I felt a lack of human touch among the interviewers and the person who conducted the information session. For example, no follow up questions on any of the examples as if a robot was just asking me questions and recording my answers. I understand that Kellogg interviews everyone and does not really need to impress candidates, but compared to some of the other schools I just felt a lack of bonding (if that is the right word) and left me with a bad taste...what do you all think?

quick question -

i had my on-campus interview on saturday but have not seen any updates on the website indicating that my interviewer submitted his report.

is this the way it works or should some "interview complete" note be on the website now?

my interview off campus was somewhat like that as well. but again, this seems to be quite indicative of the kellogg outward experience. those in the program seem to love it immensely, but those on the outside seem to have very mixed feelings about the general feel and impression the kellogg gives.

Both my interviewer and the member of the admissions committee who ran my on-campus info session were very interactive and friendly.

2nd Round 1Y Applicant here.

Had my alumni interview today. Interviewer had clearly examined my resume because he began by asking me specifics about all of my experiences. He asked me my career goals and asked me how I planned to accomplish it. He then probed further and asked what exactly I could do at Kellogg to accomplish my goals without stating the obvious in taking interesting classes. Although I didn't get asked Why MBA? why Kellogg directly, those questions were more or less answered throughout our conversation.

My experience felt more like a job interview than a bschool interview. I was prepared for this as a friend of mine who had his Kellogg earlier had a similar experience. Overall, the interview was positive and was told that I would be a good fit for Kellogg. Alum said Kellogg was special place and that he had an amazing experience.

Now its just wait and see for at least 1.5months? Good luck everyone

Looks like my status still hasn't changed. I think I'm gonna send them a quick email to see if there's anything missing from my application.

Hi milias...any news from them? Did they respond to your email?

I had my interview 2 weeks ago; no indication on the website that the interviewer submitted his report. Wouldn't worry about it.

Do any wait listers think we'll hear anything tomorrow? The FAQ they said we'll hear the following dates and my wait list manager confirmed: January 28, February 15, March 1, and March 31.

Add me to roll call for R2.

I got an interview waiver during the application process and now I have received an invitation for interview.
