So what was the final consensus reached on proper interview attire if the Interview is at a Starbucks? As luck would have it, my interviewer wants to talk at a Starbucks. Thanks in advance

My interview was at a Starbucks, and I dressed business professional. My interviewer also showed up wearing a suit and tie. I think I would have been uncomfortable and angry at myself had I dressed anything but business professional.

Wear a suit just for safe. If he showed up fully armored, you with jeans and loafer, it's not going to go well.
Don't worry about the waiver yet. They will contact you for a phone interview if they are going to consider admitting you. Less than a month until the first admits start coming out...good luck guys not too much longer to wait.

Thanks ripper. That is the general consensus from the admissions office, alumni Interview coordinators and students/alumni I've spoken to since I received the waiver. I'm just a little flustered by having one thing I could control taken away. At this point all the not hearing from schools has me pretty accustomed, I think.

Yea. This is only true for the 0.1 of a second you are waiting for your admit/ding email to open
I would say at starbucks you could definitely get away with a skirt...I think the dress code is a little less black/white as with guys. Just look well put together and you will be fine. I also tend to think it varies by location and if you know what your interviewer does it might help decide what to wear. If you live in NYC and are getting interviewed by someone from Goldman then you probably want to dress up a lot more than if you are in San Fran and are interviewing with a person who works for Apple.
Hi everyone.. its been 6 weeks since i submitted part 1 of my app...and i am still waiting for that ever elusive email... Should i give Kellogg a call on Monday?? Has anyone from Delhi received an invite yet?

Check your application status.
I didn't receive an email. I randomly checked my application status one day and there was a link to a letter saying they had found me a local interviewer. Fortunately for me, the letter had only been posted 3 days earlier.
Just finished my interview. Pretty standard questions - why MBA, why Kellogg, leadership story, teamwork story, career goals. Overall very laid back and conversational. Went about 45 minutes, but most of the second half was me asking questions. I think it went well, but I guess you never really know.
There's nothing left to do now but play the waiting game. Good luck everyone!
https://www.kellogg.northwestern.edu/car ... e+Salaries About 93% of people who reported status this year have jobs now...which isn't bad at all. The number of people not reporting is slightly higher than last year, I have heard that PT people are much more likely to not report and almost all of them are already employed anyways.
I like the new system, very user friendly and allows you to quickly go through different years and data.
@Goose Naaah...I Checked...nothing there but the generic "All the required elements of your application are complete.........." Goose, where are you located?
how do you like your time in Kellogg? im planing to apply next year, EA/R1

Just an FYI, there is no EA at Kellogg. And your GMAT score of 200 might need to come up a bit. Haha, I'm kidding, I know that's just a place holder. But there is not an EA round at Kellogg but luckily their R1 is generally pretty early and they start releasing decisions early December most years, which is pretty good.

For those that didn't receive the interview match letter, you might check your spam folders. GMail put mine in the spam folder and I was just lucky to actually look at what was in the folder before deleting everything. There is also a link in your app status to the match letter, so you can check that as well.
I submitted part 1 before the part 1 deadline. I interviewed b/t the part 1 and part 2 deadline. I submitted part 2 a little before the part 2 deadline.
I don't think there's any "recommendation". I think tactically you could tailor your app slightly based on how you think the interview went. (Like talk about things in your essays that you wished you had addressed in your interview). There's no required order. You can do whatever.

This is what the status update page says....
All the required elements of your application are complete.
If your interview has been completed, the application has been submitted for review to the admissions committee. If your interview has not been conducted, the application will be submitted to the admissions committee upon completion of the interview. The next status check update will be the admission decision (Admit, Waitlist or Deny). When a decision has been rendered, the Office of Admissions will send you an email notifying you to check your status for your decision. Decisions will be released throughout the round, but the majority of decisions will be released during the last several weeks of the round.
