Thanks. I thought K is a bit of my league and got dinged elsewhere. I am a natural worry pot and Kellogg would be a fit to my interests/goals, also like lovely Evanston. Hence the emotional investment sth "like I worry cos I care".

Yep I'm exactly the same, emotionally invested for sure. This dragged out process doesn't make it any easier. Trying to get myself psyched for Booth in the meantime, but you know what they say, the heart wants what it wants
I see from your profile that you have been very popular with other BSchools, even the "other place" in Chicago. Booth is a great programme, would you still prefer K over the other BSchools?
Ps: Besides being a worry pot, I am mildly superstitious. So during the application process, I follow routine in order not to jinx it.

Ok so for those of you that got calls - can you please tell me how to interpret this:
on Thursday morning 9:20am EST to 9:23am EST, I missed 4 calls in a row from an "unknown number" - I was watching my phone ring but I was scared it was my boss because I was running late for work so I didn't answer it. Do you think I missed my decisions call? My status on the website is unchanged and there was no voicemail.
This is my first time posting, but I thought I'd share an update with the JD-MBA applicants waiting patiently for some activity. I just got the call at 1:14pm PST. In to the JD-MBA program!

Part I submitted by R1 deadline, Part II submitted for R2. Interview with a local alum in early November.

Oh trust me I did all sorts of "lucky" rituals, but screwed up the bday wish this year by not getting all the candles out in one shot haha, so I'm gonna go with that as the reason for no call Yeah Kellogg was the one I wished for, but all are pretty great and most of all excited to put this whole application process behind me

It probably was your boss lol. They would've left you a message and they definitely wouldn't have called back four times
michmax, would you pick Kellogg over Booth for sure regardless of money?

That's hard to say for sure, $40k from Booth is a lot of money, but if after attending both admit weekends I still felt much more strongly for Kellogg than I think I would.

Wow! 40K from the number 1 school in the US. Not too shabby Wish Kellogg would have thrown some money my way. Did I read earlier that for the most part, money from Kellogg comes later?
