Thanks - I think my biggest weakness is my relatively short work experience and lack of advancement so far. I should be promoted this summer so I think I'd have a better chance if I reapplied next year, but I really don't want to have to do that! I want to go this fall. Oh well, maybe the Kellogg admissions committee is just having some fun with me before they ultimately let me in :-D

Thanks! I am living overseas. The email said they tried to call (maybe my work number, as it's 1 AM here). My wife is in the U.S. and called when she saw the email.

Paranoid question. In the status it doesn't indicate if the interviewer submitted the interview or not, and it also says the package won't be submitted to review unless the interview is complete. They would definitely have notified us if our interview passed the 21 day deadline without response, right?

Profile:
GPA: 4.0 (from a top college in India), ~6 yrs software developer experience (Msft, was involved in good number of initiatives at work), GMAT: 720 (49Q, 40V), Strong ECs (published writer, involved in fund mobilization and other activities, involvement with NGO).

Think my Developer profile is playing spoilsport with my chances. On another note, the adcom at some other college put it in his feedback, "If u were not from the IT pool, we would have taken you in"... Didnt think adcoms are so averse to IT profiles...

hi quos. My situation is the same.

I believe that because of the high number of applicants, Kellogg has to have a structured way to notify the interviewers about missing interview reports. In my case, I believe that my interviewer sent the report just a couple of days after the interview, although he has not confirmed.

It would be the worst situation to lose an admit or a waitlist due to a forgotten interview result ...

I'm in!. I don't know what to say. I missed a call yesterday afternoon and found that there was no change with my status until this morning. Didn't receive email but the status has changed. I almost lose my faith and hope with Kellogg, but finally my hope comes to be true. Guys, never give up and best wishes to everyone here.

commiseration on your ding. Hope you will get admitted at other BSchools. Adcoms aren't averse to IT, there is just a huge demand for places from IT folks. Simple demand and supply. Agree, tough pool to be in. Good luck

I'm in and was truly surprised. Wasn't expecting it as I thought I was on the younger end of things. And felt that I did a mistake applying R2 instead of R1. I've also never visited the campus.

They called me twice on 3/14 but I was in Spain so they finally emailed me 3/15.

Stats: 3yrs work, Pharma/Biotech, Feb 26th off-campus interview, 25 (just turned!), Female, Indian American, 700 GMAT
