Hi all, just got the phone call and I'm in! Wow, my hands are still shaking. I think she said an email would be coming, but honestly I could barely pay attention. AT&T dropped the call about half way through (yep, Verizon here I come), but she was nice enough to call back.

Stats: Female, 28 at matriculation, GMAT 750, 6 years work experience in small biz marketing, 750 GMAT, 3.8 GPA top 20 private college, post-MBA plans = entrepreneurship. Really relieved to get in with my somewhat strange work history (was a ski instructor after I graduated!)

Hope to see some of you at DAK, and best of luck to the rest who have yet to hear!

edit: I applied to the full time 2Y program

Dear Ms. Williams,

I'm sure you know me. We have met at a Kellogg event and chatted for a while. I feel that you really can't wait to call me and inform me on the good news but you're worried to wake me up as it's very very very late here in my faraway time zone.
Dear Ms. Williams, rest assured. I'm all awake, anxiously waiting for your call. In fact, even elephants' sleeping pills won't do the job. I promise to answer the phone, however late it may be, and to scream out loud when I hear your voice.

Yours truly,
Desperate (soon to be?) housewife.

LOL...

I am just starting my day here with a massive headache. I gathered it was induced by at least one (or all) of following:

1. Slept with my iPhone next to my head/under my pillow/in my hand/on my chest/next to my face
2. Woke up every hour to check my email
3. bf got up at 6am to go to work

Yeah there has been some serious action today! Congrats all!

Like others have said, I have been seriously jumpy every time I get a call on my cell today. Still not the call I'm looking for yet!

i was actually thinking they've made almost all their calls already, and would be surprised if it went more than a few hours tomorrow. might even think that the "updated status online" tomorrow will be for everybody, including dings?

thinking ~700 class size, 40% from R1 and 80% accept the offer = 350 acceptances. at ~3 minutes/call with 6 callers that would be under 3 hours to do everybody. and if there's 100 active gmatclub users on this forum (which i doubt), then we've already gone past the expected number of acceptances and they're probably close to wrapping up tonight?

hope that i'm completely wrong though, i'm on the waiting nervously end of things too :(

Well it looks like there were about 7-8 admits on gmat club today, in the past couple of years there have been anywhere from mid 20s to mid 30s of admits from gmat club in round one. I doubt they have everyone sitting and calling non-stop for 5 hours straight (I could just be talking myself into this though).

I'm going to go ahead and say you're completely wrong. People were still doing interviews up until about a week ago. Once the interview is complete, the interviewer has to submit their feedback, then 2 people + Beth review the application. There's no way all the applications for R1 have been completely reviewed and decisions made already. Don't try and read into patterns or volume of when others get their decision to try and figure out whether you're getting admitted. Admits can and do get sent up until the end of the day on the decision date.
