omg, I have now gone from somewhat unproductive to utterly useless at work! Kellogg is the only school I applied to. The suspense is torture!

A big congrats to all those who've gotten in so far!

For those that say in - can you give us a small profile? I know it doesn't matter at this point but it helps for some reason....

770 GMAT, 3.8 GPA US state-school, 3yrs in investment research, solid but not extraordinary ECs
I would say my essays were good, but my Kellogg interview was average to below average (I was personable, but I felt nervous and caught myself rambling a couple times. It was my first interview).

Hope that helps!

My online status has not changed. When I talked to Deena she said I was the first admit she had spoken to and that was around 2pm CT.

Profile:
-3 years W/E at matriculation with Top Financial Services firm--2 years corp fin and 1 year credit
-700 GMAT
-3.6 GPA from top private undergrad (Ivy quality in Midwest)
-African American Female
-EXTENSIVE extracurriculars, both in undergrad and currently
-Felt like I really connected with my interviewer, especially about my e/c's
-Had extensive revisions to essays and thought they were pretty steller and clear about my goals, fairly emotional 'why this career path' essay that went into certain experiences in my background
-I was confident that I did everything I possibly could to get in; no regrets about essays or interviews

To the lucky few who have received the call, when did you interview? Off or on-campus? I interviewed last week and assumed it would take 2 weeks for my application to navigate the "process". Now I am nervous!

Congratulations to all that got accepted! Looks like the earlier interviewees are getting notified first. Did you guys get an e-mail along with a phone call? Congrats again!

That's my fear, I interviewed 9/27 and submitted Part II at the deadline. I hate to jump to conclusions but I'm guessing they've had plenty of time to decide. From last year it looks like they send out ding emails at the end of the day in batches......

I got in too!! I'm unbelievably excited. No change in my online status yet.

F/760/3.8 from top 20/6 yrs experience in consulting and finance (not banking)
I felt my essays for Kellogg were the strongest of my R1 apps and my interview went well (off-campus in Oct). My ECs are weak, which worried me, and I'm a tad older than average but I guess I was able to make up for it elsewhere.

Heard from Jessica Seymour around 1:30 pm. Got in. Boo yeah! I interviewed off campus on Oct. 31.

stats: 720 GMAT, 3.98 GPA in journalism from big state school. 3 years in journalism/publishing and extensive non-profit extracurricular activities. i really enjoy writing essays and its my background, so I really do think that helped.

good luck to everyone.

I received a voicemail at 2:45pm - then I called her back twice and got the news. It was only while we were talking that she told me that she would be sending me an email soon with the additional info about DAK (Day at Kellogg) and deposit info. Maybe if they don't get a hold of you after several attempts they may just send an email? Or perhaps for different timezones? But my guess is the call comes first.
