I just wrote to my WL manager at Kellogg and apparently the class is almost complete. They're filling available spots on a one-off basis and heading to the summer WL.

It's been a long time since I've been following this thread and I thought this info could be helpful to keep up hope on those still alive.

International R3 applicant here, still hanging on. Have been moved to summer w/l. It seems I won't get in unless someone with my exact profile drops out. Wish I had applied R1 as I have been told that I would have been admitted. Any other internationals hanging on?

Hey, no my status is still the waitlisted letter. I just emailed my w/l manager and was told I had been moved onto a summer w/l. I don't hold out too much hope to be honest. From what I gather the class is already full and they are only dipping into the w/l if someone drops out. Anyone else heard anything different?

got an email today informing me that ive been moved to the summer waitlist. im going to stay on it and hope that a spot opens up. doubtful though...

One more on the Summer Wait list, although I suppose odds of winning a million dollar lottery are probably higher.

I'm going to retake the GMAT and will re-apply as early as possible this year. It looks like they require a whole new application

Add me to the Summer WL as well - this is #2 for me. (Anyone else on multiple?)

I'm fortunate to be on my 5 year sabbatical this summer so my plan is to use the time away from work to focus on a few projects that I think will strengthen my candidacy for next year. Also, with a few extra months to reflect upon them, I've already got a number of ideas on how to improve my essays. Plan is to get all applications in for R1.

Does anyone have any idea of whether or not being on the summer WL will help/hurt chances for next year? I could see it going both ways.....

I haven't posted before but have relied on all of the great info provided here - I had just about given up but was offered a spot today. There's still hope!

R3 applicant / 27 F/ 5 years WE government and nonprofit (good management/leadership) / 3.6 GPA top 5 liberal arts college

@Cooper52: I have similar plans. I hope to see you around a lot more then.

@jmad1983: It’s your second Summer wait list at Kellogg? Boy ..you are persistent. I do not think staying on the summer wait list will hurt your chances next year. If anything it only shows your continued interest in the program.

@fbardolph: Aren’t you considering Ross? It's a great program, and I see you have an admit there.

@eliseb: Congratulations. That must have been a welcome surprise and that was quick too. We had just started to make our summer party plans. Hate to see you leave

I have decided to stay on the Waitlist...
I am not sure how Summer waitlist works for international students? ( I am one... :0-) )
Any other international students on the summer WL?

But good to finally know where we stand, not that this brings us any closure...but +ve nonetheless....
