Spoke to my WL manager yesterday afternoon. She said that she would not comment that the class is full, but that after taking into consideration R3 offers, she said that it "could" be approaching that point. Also, they are not yet at the summer waitlist point - based on her comments she said that they are waiting until the June 6th deadline to see who accepts.

Basically, it sounds like the class is almost full and that with the R3 deadlines, the class could be full. At that point, they will reassess the pool of candidates to see who will remain on the WL and who will be asked off the WL - that will be the summer WL. She also said the process is extremely flexible now - no hard and fast dates (as if there were before). She also basically said that there is no need to update the adcom, unless there is something material - and then they will certainly take that into consideration.

Hi All,

just want to update my status. got the email 2 days ago and was accepted. been following this thread very closely all this time, and thought i would contribute with updating the count.

I got the call on Friday. So there's still hope people, hang in there. I have been a lurker for a while, and wanted to thank everyone for the advice and info. Now to planning an exit from my job, some travel in the summer and starting b-school in the fall.

I'm pretty sure that the school had an idea of open spots toward the end of last week; hence, the several acceptances off the WL. I don't think today marks anything special, other than that they can't really hide behind deadlines anymore, and that they'll start deciding who they want to ask to stay on the summer WL.

no dice for me. jdmba waitlist round two. will try again next year...

checked my status twice today. once early in the morning and once a few minutes ago. this morning, it was the same letter from march 25th; this afternoon, there was a new letter dated June 6th. no email yet.

Same Status for me also. Looking at how diligent the Adcom is with handling waitlisters who are dinged, I won't be surprised is the fate of some of us has been sealed but just not updated on the status page.

Given their approach thus far, I would say diligence is not their forte; although, they'll need to fill slots fast as they become available.

I'm guessing the next step is deciding the handful of people for the summer waitlist, and dinging the rest.

I am sure there are a few intl applicants on the WL. How much longer should we wait before we start worrying about whether we have enough time for visa processing?
