It's an off-campus with an alum in my country. I googled that person and it seem like he works at a fancy consulting firm. Is wearing a suit necessary?

I'd wear one if you're meeting at the alumni's office, especially on a weekday. If it's a weekend coffee shop kind of thing, something more casual might suffice. The way I look at it, you can always take off your suit jacket if the environment is not very formal... Could all you off-campus interviewees please tell the class when you submitted your Part 1 and 2? I'm trying to figure out if anyone who submitted Part 1 right on the deadline has been invited to interview as yet. Thanks

Submitted Part 1 right before the deadline and submitted part 2 a few hours ago. Also got the interview invite just after i submitted part 2

Submitted my Part 2. Interview prep and nail biting begins! @healthcareguy: Thanks for your tip on interview. I submitted my part 1 at the beginning of December. I got my invite today.

In for Round 2. But after I submitted I saw that "candidates must request that (GMAT) scores be sent to Kellogg". I uploaded my official scores for part 1 and part 2. I just ordered a copy to be sent to Kellogg as well a couple minutes ago. Will this hurt me?

I would not worry about the official scores. As long as you have requested it, they will get it in a few days and it should be fine for the R2 deadline.

eh...i read that they don't need your official scores mailed in until you're admitted...! i didn't send any...
