Hello,

All interview decisions are rolled out on the date mentioned in the academic calendar.

Hence, all interview decisions will be sent out on 3 April 2025 for R3 applicants. You can expect to receive the same between 3pm and 10pm IST on this date!

Hey guys,
R4 applicant
Got an invite for the interview. I am down for any tips and preparing for mock interviews as well.

Can anyone explain how the waitlist works? Is there a situation where after an interview the admission team can ask you to retake some tests?

All the best out there

I got waitlisted too. I might be wrong, but I think there were only a few spots available. Based on what I’ve read, it’s not very common to get an interview and then be waitlisted in the later rounds. I saw some posts saying that it’s quite common in the first or second rounds, but not in the third or fourth.

That said, I believe that being waitlisted—especially in the fourth round—is still way better than getting rejected. It might even strengthen your application for next year’s intake.

hi,
Does it mean that in the waitlist currently there is a very slim chance of making out and getting an offer? Even if you improve your GRE/GMAT?

The closer we get to the class start (~August 2025), the more they will have filled up their class. The chances are quite low, but it will most likely depend on whether people who have received an offer accept it or not (and that really varies each year since not everyone applies to the same schools and they each have their preferences of 1st, 2nd, 3rd choice etc.)

As mentioned it's still better than a rejection, it may put you in a good position to get accepted the following year

Finger crossed for you!
