My application asked for us to send the official transcripts from the school to a specific USC email address right after submitting the application

Of those still waiting anyone not have transcript issues too?
I’m actually surprised by the talks of transcript issues. Last I checked, we were only required to upload the scanned copy of our official transcript in the application and it was quite straightforward. So, I don’t understand why Marshall AdCom have made a big deal of this.

same. Also did not recieve any sort of communication asking for anything else. Atleast for me, it does not look like a transcript issue

I just spoke with Marshall adcom and they told me the issue won’t be resolved this week and I can expect a decision by second week of January

They gave a very unsatisfying reason, which is that the applications are “on hold in the processing stage” at central admissions (separate department). Central admissions claimed they don’t see any issue on their end when I spoke to them. They claimed the issue is that Marshall is being slow. So it appears our applications are stuck in some sort of limbo.

if anyone else wants to try to contact central admissions to get a better answer, you can call them at 213-740-1111

This is what I fail to understand. If there was a limbo, how is it that we were interviewed? What does hold exactly mean? If our decision has been made, why not email it and continue working on your lack of resolutions on the backend? Also, no communication of any sort from the college. Very frustrating and unprofessional.

I also sent them an email yesterday and was told that I’ll hear back by the end of this week. Ig this too is a lie then

This is gonna sound so funny, but I received a decision letter 2am LA time

But it’s a rejection letter from a program that I withdrew 😂😂😂 I didn’t even continue the application process for that one, jezzzz

Yet, have not received anything for the one that I interviewed for

Thanks. I think they are bombarded w emails and wont be replying. Did someone try calling? Decisions are supposed to go out this week. Is it Friday or Sunday? Can someone in the USA call and ask. I am not able to connect. I am in another country
