no updates on Ross? dont see much activity even on BW forums. Guess they are busy interviewing candidates. I thought I saw someone mention that invites go out till the end of the month so i guess another week more.
man....this is frustrating as hell!!!wat the hell is happening down in A2? no updates .... nothing....the thing that concerns me is that even if they send an invite they won't give the applicant more than 3-4 days to schedule the interview and complete it....just seems like the dice is heavily loaded in their favour....they seem play around with the whole admissions process any way they want!!!

It is short notice. I got 2 weeks, but when I was there, one of the girls said she only had to interview by the following friday. They really don't allow much turnaround time.
Great!! I wouldn't put too much into that GMAT score. Had they thought it was too low, they would not have given you that call. Though how eliminations happen after the interview -- is a very debatable topic.
I agree about your GMAT score. If they didn't think you could handle the program they would have dinged you without an interview or if it was a big concern I'm sure they'd have asked you about it during the interview.
Completed my phone interview today from Iraq as the wait begins. Now I'm really sweating my low GMAT score...
I think the GMAT/GPA is more to disguish among similiar candidates, your app is gonna be so unique I don't think it really matters.
On another note, does it surprise anyone the interview rate is so low for R2, being that Ross has come out and said the apps for R2 are down? I think there is gonna be a big R1 WL conversion.
I'm not sure we are that "low" - if you look at the 2008 thread R1: 11 admits 4 dings 2 wait but R2: 10admits 9 dings
I know my name isn't on the first page as part of the tracking and that should put us with a little better than 50% + if we have some luck and get a high conversion rate we still might be in the ball park.

Based on R1 interview percentage in the 70's, while R2 is in the low 50's
Because I came late to the party I don't know how many people said oh hey I got an invite but had never made a post - that seemed to be very popular in the wharton or haas threads I was following. Basically if you are an observer of gmatclub and only read but don't post if you don't get in oh well but if you get an interview or accepted your much more willing to join and post about it. Think it's kind of self-fulfilling, I imagine we see less of those people in Round 2.

GB thanks for keeping me busy at work today!
Yeah we sort of account for that.. like on the booth thread, the people who said I applied only after the interview invite wasn't added to the tally. Same with the people who had less than 25 post.
Thanks for the vote of confidence everybody! Either way, I see Ross approaching the after interview elimination process like they would a jigsaw puzzle: fitting all the "pieces" together to create an artistic mosaic that is the Ross MBA Class of 2011. Best of luck to everybody!
