I'm a little late, but I thought that I would throw my hat in the ring. I submitted my R1 application to Ross on October 7th. So far I have heard nothing regarding interviews from anyone, but am starting to become a bit antsy as we are now two weeks removed from the deadline. I would imagine something must be coming within the next few days.

About me:

27 y/o American Caucasian Male
750 GMAT (89Q/95V)
Small liberal arts undergrad Comp Sci major with mediocre GPA
Master's Degree in Comp Sci at large engineering school with a much stronger GPA
4 years WE as software developer at matriculation
Decent extracurriculars

ha at least we know exactly when that will be coming. I guess they are taking their time this year to release.

Hey everyone--

I'm a R1 Ross applicant as well. I have to say, I contacted a second year Ross MBA student, and she was so nice and informative, we spent about two hours on the phone talking about pretty much every aspect of the program.

So here's a funny question (and BTW--I'm still waiting on the interview invite as well): earlier in this forum, someone referred to knowing that their app had gone complete. Where could they see this? I've looked through the Embark site, but nothing seems to really indicate it being complete--just submitted. If they are like Northwestern (who also uses Embark) then they have a status check as part of the school's main website--but I can't find it!!! Any help would be appreciated!

I know that on the Ross website it says that an interview invitation is not an indicator of application outcome, but are people who are interviewed more likely to be accepted than those who are not?

Ross doesn't interview all applicants so getting an invitation is definitely a good thing.

At most schools an interview invite means that your chances of admission have gone up from 10-15% to something along the lines of 30-50%.
