Hey congrats to all that got the sacred email!
For those that are despondent--buck up! They will interview many, many candidates, there will be many days where blocks of interview are released. Think about how many hundreds of people are viewing these forums, and of those people, only a few posted about interviews. My bet--though I don't know for sure--Ross will trickle out interviews in the order the applications are read, which is in all likelihood purposely randomized (I'm picturing some poor student worker trying to shuffle thick application files like a deck of cards, invariably failing and scattering papers from different files all over the floor). And don't forget, some top schools, like Wharton for example, release the majority of their interviews toward the end of the process (even on the last day). I swear, Wharton must do it on purpose (trickle out 5% of the interviews over the first 6 weeks of the interview "window" and then release 95% of them on the last day--which happened to me last year), just to drive us crazy!!!
I'm re-posting my question from before, since everyone got all excited about the interviews right after and my inquiry got lost:
Hey everyone--
I'm a R1 Ross applicant as well. I have to say, I contacted a second year Ross MBA student, and she was so nice and informative, we spent about two hours on the phone talking about pretty much every aspect of the program.
So here's a funny question (and BTW--I'm still waiting on the interview invite as well): earlier in this forum, someone referred to knowing that their app had gone complete. Where could they see this? I've looked through the Embark site, but nothing seems to really indicate it being complete--just submitted. If they are like Northwestern (who also uses Embark) then they have a status check as part of the school's main website--but I can't find it!!! Any help would be appreciated!
