For some reasons I started to read my Ross essays again today...it will never be perfect All I can do is hope for the best now. Good luck to everyone...
Well, I submitted for Round 1 but my second recommendor has not. Guess I'm round 2...
hey I'm not sure what the Ross process is but I'd say do write in to the admissions office and find out if ur recs can come in a bit late. I know other schools (cornell for sure) do give some leeway on the reco front.
Thanks for the thoughts guys. My recommendor is a great guy but had some personal issues pop-up at the end of last week and over the weekend. He assured me that he'd get it in today.
I called Ross and spoke to a very friendly woman in the admissions office. She said that it shouldn't be an issue - all of the applications haven't been downloaded yet and that if there is something missing they'll send an email with a request to fix it.

Glad to hear it.
I know quite a few apps say "Deadline for completed applications is ....". It makes you think the deadline is do-or-die, but from what I've read, a lot of adcoms are pretty flexible if it's something out of your control.

Confirmed that my recommendation has been received through the Ross site...best of luck to all as we wait for interview invites. Looks like the first ones went out about a week after the R1 deadline last year, although the deadline was Nov. 1 first then.
I heard from the associate director admissions that it could take 2-3 weeks for them to review, so we will have email for interview after that. The latest will be somewhere around mid Dec (1 month before announcement). Other than that, no clue how the interview is. Anyone has any exp with that?
Are you kidding me?!?!?! Why on earth would they be so cruel as to send anything with this message title except for an interview invite???
Here was the rest of the email that I'm sure many others received:

Haha, I got that too. I actually just flipped through the 2008 Ross thread so I knew it was coming
Gmail is blocked in my office. But the gmail preview tab works on Igoogle and in that you only get to see the subject of all your emails. I just saw the subject and my heart skipped a beat. I went to the other bldg, where my friend has a dataplan on his cellphone. So I requested him to lend me his phone for 5 mins. I logged in and guess what - the survey..I felt like pulling my hair out !!
So everybody gets it, and i hope the same for interview invitation
Quite worried now, after i happened to know that I have one good reco letter, while the other is quite short and not really elaborated with examples, having some grammar errors (i learned too much the SC but yet not earned decent verbal score ). Don't know whether it will damage my chance. Any way I only can pray now....
