I just finished my interview with an alum.
It was a good experience, and the interviewer made me comfortable initially with a small intro by him. He explained what he is going to do and what is the expected..post that it was good conversation and overall I have an 'okayish' feeling about it. The Qs were:-
- Show me person behind the resume
- Family
- Why MBA?
- Why Ross?
- Why 2nd MBA?
- What will u contribute to Ross?
- One failure/setback story & learning?
- How do you handle team dynamics( eg; competition etc)
- Why a gap in study( between my under-grad and grad)
He countered my goals story by saying I dont need a MBA for it, I had to reframe my why MBA answer. I hope he was convinced! In the end, I asked him questions on his experience at Ross, fav classes, fav profs, MAP experience, life at Ross etc..
I was really struck by the passion he exhibited for his school. He is a 2005 passout, but seems to remember his times there with a lot of passion( no other word would fit here) and clarity..Meeting him makes me really want to go to Ross

provided they want me
ATB to all of us...
