Thanks all.. cleared one hurdle.. one more to go..

Those waiting, be patient.. I see a bunch of interview slots still open...

Couple of questions to those who have already been interviewed...

1. Did you know your interviewer before going to the interview?
2. Had the interviewer read your essays/resume before?

2. Had the interviewer read your essays/resume before?
1. I didn't know my interviewer personally, but was given her name/email and asked to contact her to schedule an interview (off-campus).
2. Essays, no. Resume, yes. Make sure you bring an extra copy of your resume with you just in case (came in handy for me).

BTW, congrats on the invite. My friend just IM'd me and told me he had received an invite as well. It appears as though the 2nd "wave" of invites is starting. Brace yourselves!

YihWei, Thanks... Was yours an Alum interview? Since I have visited Ross during my school visit, I am wondering if I should schedule an alum interview? What you guys recommend? Since, I am cutting close, the air tickets are expensive and driving is out of scope.

Had an on campus interview -

-Did not know the interviewer beforehand (but she turned out to be really nice!)
-Interviewer made a point of saying she did NOT have my essays, only my resume.

Hope this helps! Knock 'em dead!

Normally student interviewers will not have access to essays.

I visited Ross already once, I'm not going back (if I get an interview  ). Even though it's only 1.5 h flight for me, it would cost close to $500 for flight, hotel and rental car.

Congratulations! If you check the stats from last year, I think only 3 out of 19 or so who applied in R1 didn't get an interview.

I hope I don't end up as one of those three!

I got an interview invite 4 hours back! :-D

As with aakashganga, been asked to schedule it between Dec 1-12.

All the best to people who have got their invites and to people who are expecting it! Am sure its on the way... :)

congrats to those who received interviews today!

I interviewed with an alum off campus. She was very nice and conversational.

I visited Ross for an admissions event and they told prospective students that scheduling an on-campus interviewed demonstrated the extra effort of wanting to go to Ross. But this is only important if you haven't previously visited Ross and certainly won't affect your admission either way.

good luck :)

Thanks Guys.. Ross is very top on my list. In this extra competitive year, I don't want to leave any stones unturned. But, looking at the total expense, I might opt for the alum interview.

I had not visited Ross before. So had an on-campus interview.

I did not know my interviewer's name and he was a second year student. Interview lasted around 30 mins. I think I have posted the recap somewhere behind in this thread.

My interviewer particularly mentioned that he had not read my essays. And had just skimmed thru my resume 10 minutes prior.

Hope you see you all at Ross next year !!!

Someone please update the roll call on first page!

The email says you need not use the scheduling system to schedule alum interviews. You need to send an email to the address given.
