MSU looks awesome, I know I'm not the only one applying, anyone else care to share some thoughts on the application process? I have already submitted and interviewed, hoping to hear something soon. Please share your experience.
I'm considering their weekend program in anticipation of dings from Haas and Kellogg.
I really like the format, but I don't like the ease of admission and the fact that the entire student body is basically from Michigan, (where I don't want to be when I graduate).
I applied to MSU for their really strong supply chain management program. Sent in my application in Round 2 (January) and heard back extremely quickly, within a week, for a skype interview. I am pretty sure I did horrible on the interview, but as of now I haven't heard back from them. It's not my top choice of school, mainly because of location, so I have been on the fence about it for a while. Recently I got an admit from my #1 choice, so... there you go...

Yeah the location is tough, but you don't have to get a job in MI. The two students I talked two were both going elsewhere for work (NYC, Chicago) and MSU seems to have a strong regional pull (Bweek profile). I'm planning on staying in the midwest though so I suppose that skews my thinking, and I don't know anything about their weekend program, but good luck to you.

Good luck to you all applying there!!!

I havn't heard anything back either and recieved a similar response after the applicaton. According to last years stats if you get interviewed you have a 64% chance of getting an admit, because only 45% were interviewed. Not sure if they are sticking to that policy this year though. Congrats on your #1 I guess you can relax now, good for you, I'm still anxious.

I am curious, where were you able to find those percentages? At first look, it doesn't seem like something a school would to publish.
Anyways, I received an email from adcom asking me to give them a call. Wonder what it's about. Will update soon
Check out the link I posted on the first message, businessweek profile. They publish the # applied, % admit, and % interviewed. 100% admits were interviewed, and only 45% of the total applied were interviewed. I was hoping to get a call today, kept my phone close. At 6pm my time I went to the gym and left my phone in the car, sure enough got a voicemail from MSU adcom. Gonna call back tomorrow, wish I had my phone on me!
Congrats. How did you find out? I just found out the head of admissions left me a voicemail earlier and I haven't been able to get a hold of him since.

Congrats, are you planning on attending? I have to get the financial situation sorted out, havn't recieved word on scholarships yet, and still waiting on some other schools, but I'm leaning towards MSU.
Hi all, does anyone also receive the info abt the scholarships? i remember the adcom said such info wud be annoucned by this week. But now the business school is on spring break.
Hey I think the $$ info was sent with the official admit letter in the mail so we should probably get it early in the week. I figured I would have got it last week, but I havn't gotten anything yet. I'll post something if I do
