Just submitted -- beat the deadline by just over an hour.

Did anybody see a way to get a pdf copy of your submitted app? I had the opportunity just before I put my CC# in but I didn't take it and now I don't see it as an option anywhere.

I am R1 applicant too, submitted early October. I know it is early to think about interviews but does anyone know from past years when are the invitations starting to go out? and also, if it is to get rejected, does MIT wait until February to let you know?

It's bit early for worrying about interviews, but recently MIT mentioned that they plan to start the Cambridge interviews at the beginning of December (Dec 8th, I think), and so invites should probably go out a week or two before that. So it will still be a month or so yet.

As for when people get rejected, I have no idea.

Interestingly, just looked at the MIT website...there's a new (at least to me) interview guide posted: https://mitsloan.mit.edu/mba/admissions/MITSloan_interview_guide.pdf

And they say:

Interviews are by invitation only. Our goal is to interview all candidates accepted into the program. An invitation to interview thus signals that your application has reached an advanced stage of consideration, but does not guarantee admission. Candidates will be notified of interviews by e-mail until the decision deadline.

Interviews will be conducted at MIT Sloan and in several key cities around the globe. Please indicate on the application the preferred location of your interview; in some cases, we may conduct interviews by telephone.

So if the deadline for R1 is 2/2 - does that mean interviews will be released until then?
that's a looong wait..

As I rememberred, the Adcom said they will send out Interview invitation after they finish reviewing all the applicants's documents and they said since this year could be a big increase in the number of applicantions, it could be very late.

Please add me. I submitted my R1 application before deadline too.
