Hi

I am an R1 applicant to Sloan. guess the invites haven't started as yet. Last year the invites started exactly the same time.. however only invites for newyork were given out first. International invites came out just before christmas. Not sure if they would be following the same trend this year.

Well I think today they would be finalizing their first batch of interviews and I am sure some of us would receive an invite today. Lets see if my application was good enough to put their 'MIT doesnt like Indians from India' myth away

Thanks for the link! I'll be traveling for work/on vacation from dec 29-Jan 11 so hopefully that won't conflict with their international interviews here :?

Are you an indian from India who got admitted to Sloan?

I read your posts on Fall 08 thread for MIT and found that you interviewed in Mumbai, got waitlisted and finally accepted. Its been a great story. Kudos to your patience.

read this on the BW forum...interesting, not sure if it is legit or not

"hi all,

I submitted R1. Due to MIT's privacy notice, Im not going to give too much information but ive been contacted by sloan and have been asked to retake the GMAT and follow up with my increased score by 01/15. So no interview but no rejection either. I guess that's a good thing right?

good luck to all R1 applicants! Back to the books it is for me! Gosh I thought I was done! lol
