Someone on BW pasted a comment from one of those online chats with MIT adcoms in which one of them stated that interviews start on the 8th. That doesn't seem too feasible at this point!

From what I remember reading, that seemed pretty rare, and late in the game (like mid-January). But maybe I read something different than what you read, so who knows.

And yes, an adcom said they would start Cambridge interviews on Dec 8 (it was in one of the accepted.com chats). So maybe they're behind, or maybe they're still planning on trying to get local candidates from Boston to interview during the early part of next week.

I suppose we could speculate forever on this, though, and never get anywhere.

agreed. Heaven forbid any of us gets waitlisted, you think waiting a couple months is bad?

Doubt this is on anyones radar but I am definitely swinging by the campus sometime in the period between Dec 19-29, if any other gmat clubbers are as well, shoot me a PM. I'll be 30 min from campus so pretty flexible as to when (preferably not during a Sunday Pats game 8-) )

just to give everyone at gmatclub the heads up someone posted an invitation on businessweek. the person got the email today, located in Washington. so MIT has started releasing invitations. Lets hope for some more tmr.
