Hey, obviously Wharton decided not to compete!



There have been a bunch of calls reported on BW and even one email (supposedly from an interviewer) for admits. oof - I'm all jittery and need to get out of the office!

Any US based applicants get any calls this morning? I had my eyes on the BW forum and it looked like few internationals got the call.

The silence is a bit discouraging, no?

Got the email at 5:40 saying that I can get the decision online, but absolutely no changes made to my app status! It still says "completed and under evaluation!"

To the others, my heart goes out to you. It sucks to have waited this long just to be WL'd. I truly hope one of us gets in.

Hey, I’m so sorry to hear about the waitlists.... It's grueling... But definitely don’t think about giving up, yet! Now’s the time to send another letter of recommendation or a note saying that you’re going to take a stats or econ class over the summer, or let them know about other ECs. You can fight your way to the top of the waitlist!

i attended the chat session in accepted.com a few days ago,
MIT said there are about 125 WL-ers of which they expect ~50 to drop off by mid May.
Any movement on WL will start from then... in '07 they admitted 25 from WL and in 08 they admitted none.

Just hope we all will get in :-)
