Any Indian, based in India, got invites? If yes, can you share the details about the slots and venue?

Thanks.

There seemed to be a few Latin American invites today.

This can't be it, right? Yeah, there's the west coast invites, but do you think that was pretty much it for the East Coast? Seems so few.

I put down DC for my first choice, so I think my days are numbered. I doubt they'd come to DC twice.

That's it for me. Got my rejection letter today.
At least I'm thankful they don't keep you on board if you don't really have a chance.

Good luck to the rest of you who have not received the "Your decision to the MBA Program at the MIT Sloan School of Management is currently available online" email.

On behalf of the R1 bloodbath I totally agree, it sucks when you first get the letter but by telling you early they really save a lot of hassle for everyone. A lot of GClub people dinged w/o interview at MIT ended up getting into some really great schools in R1, so don't let a ding here ruin your confidence.

Wait listed.

I am happy that it is not a reject.

MIT has also placed me in waitlist! And this w/o an interview either. Pretty weird, I guess. They said any update to this status will happen in June/July only. Don't know what to think, two waitlists..when will I get one admit, ugh.

Waitlisted as well. It's not looking so great; either everyone on gmatclub and bw are the few lucky ones, or MIT's really stretching their waitlist.

I just wish I knew what I could improve on. I don't really have one particular part of my app that is much worse than the others.

What to do, what to do...

This carnage makes me happy that I withdrew my app. Sorry to hear about the dings and good luck to those interviewing and on the waitlist. Like me, I think there are a lot of people that will withdraw after they hear from other schools. For me, it was about "fit" I think MIT's rep and education are unquestionable but I don't think MIT's rep fit my profile. I realized that the only way I would go to MIT was with a scholarship and there is no way I would qualify for a scholly at a school as good as Sloan.

Like bostonsparky said, many of us were rejected from MIT in R1 and got into other great schools. So don't lose hope! It's almost as though the magic sorting hat is at work and will help find the right school! Good luck with the rest of your R2 apps :)
