I am also an international applicant (Canada) and have not received an invite.

As they already issued the first round of interviews, I believe from here on they issue invites as they eliminate other candidates. I believe you can receive an invite any time between now and the decision deadline.

Well that's not the response I was hoping for but it's the response I was expecting. Thanks for the info!

During Thomas Roemer's (new director of the LGO program) address to the attendees of Ambassador Day towards the end of the day, someone asked him what sorts of changes to the program he'd like to see moving forward, and his response was that he was hoping to make the program more international by opening the doors to more international applicants over the next couple of years. I was really hoping that this would occur in a big way this year!

Hi All,
I am an international applicant(from India) and have applied through EECS department. I haven't heard anything on my MIT LGO'15 application yet.
Is it mandatory to get a interview call (If applied through the engineering school) ? Is it safe to assume that I will get ditched on the results day as there is no interview call.
Is there any hope left for me?

Hi All,

I'm in the same boat as you. I think that the interviews are a pretty important piece of data to the ADCOM, so I would be surprised if anyone would be accepted off of the application alone. I applied through AeroAstro, so there is certainly the rest of this week to do the last bit of interviews, I think it is more likely that I'll end up getting a ding from LGO oxt Monday night or Tuesday morning. Hopefully AeroAstro accepts. If not, I've got 6 months to prepare and try again. There are many things that I will do differently in my package. This is my first time applying to graduate school, let alone something like LGO. I had no idea about GMATCLUB or the like until well after 15 Dec. So much learned after deadline!

No additional information after the interview. No response to thank you notes either! Hopefully we will find out this week!

I looked at the GMAT Club forum from last year's LGO class and they started getting calls on the Thursday night before the decision date. Has anyone heard anything about when calls/emails will go out this year other than the official date March 2?

I wonder if all the snow has slowed the process because it caused interview delays.

I have not heard anything about the delays causing differences in this year's calling process.
If not tonight, we can certainly expect calls to begin tomorrow.
BTW, nice job on admissions to your other schools this year!
