I am from TX. The admissions office said that interview invites are totally random and not based on region or industry :(

So I talked to admissions, and they've told me that March 6th is the last day they are sending invites, I've read some people that were told that the decision would be delayed for one more week, could anybody comment on this?

Does anyone know if they can arrange alternative interview times?
They gave me 3 days to choose from next week, but I am expected to be traveling to multiple countries (for work) during that time.

Are they at all flexible, or is it a "take it or leave it" type of policy?

One hour ago, And read in the feed that they told other applicants that they would be rolling out invitations this and next week.

I don't want to go against anyone here, but I think that had MIT changed the deadlines, they would have posted in the admission blog ASAP.
They know that people are tensed and that the wait is terrible

Thanks, guys!

Interview is in Dubai - i got a link at 8.24pm GST that just said "Dubai, 18 Mar" and could see that they had 5-6 slots on the day. No other interview dates were available and i had no way to see other cities i'm afraid
