Hi

I didnt engg in computers. 5+ work ex 3 yrs with hsbc india and 2+ with emirates airlines IT division working on the e-business projects.
Had my first interview on 21st dec and the second one on 23rd dec
Got the offer yesterday.

I have received a call from Nanyang inviting me for the skype session tomorrow. I am not sure if this is an interview call or a general chat session.

Is there anyone else who received a similar call from Nanyang?

This is the mail I got from them. Seems like I am on some sort of pre-interview waitlist or possibly a rejection :roll:

"We refer to your application to the Nanyang MBA Programme commencing in July 2016.

We have received a large number of very good applications this year.

As the programme has limited places, we are currently reviewing your application and will notify you of the outcome by 15 Jan 2016."

Hey, I got a similar email. Did anyone get it as well? Any idea what to make of this?

I think it basically means that they've not rejected me yet. At the same time they probably don't consider my profile strong enough to warrant an immediate interview/offer.
But that's just what I am making of it. Could be completely different.

Hi All,

I am really confused, if I should apply or not, or if I hold a good chance. My profile is as under:

Chartered Accountant with around 3.5 years of work experience in consulting. Currently working with KPMG Risk consulting practice of financial services sector.
Gmat: 680
reapllicant- I applied last year with a gmat of 650 in the last round and obviously did not get shortlisted.


It will be really great ,if someone could advise me on my chances of getting shortlisted based on the schools class profile & parameters ,

Priya, 680 is a very good score to get shortlisted for Interview at Nanyang and NUS.

Hi Priya,

There are 3 parts to any application before any decision related to calling an applicant takes place.

1. GMAT score
2. Applicant profile
3. Essays

I don't think you have any problem in point 1 and 2. You might want to consider point 3 seriously as it is an area where a lot of applications get rejected even before an interview.

I am getting the following error while trying to submit my application for R2 deadline. ORA-1438:AC_PR. Please email to [email protected]'

I am unable to submit my application and the whole form goes blank every time I try to save it and submit the application.

Does any body have a solution.

I have already mailed the team at the email but i have no response
