One of my referrers has been working on a startup in stealth mode. So he’s reluctant to share his professional mail id. Is it ok if I give his personal id in this case?

This was a question in the AMA NUS held recently. They said professional email id is generally preferred but they will judge it on the basis of how suitable your referee is to give you a recommendation. They were a bit ambiguous about it but the email thing probably doesn't matter. If you have already reached out to them, please do share their response in the forum when you get one.

YZLIM1994, yes, technically you can do so, but I suggest that you chose your two referees in such a way that together can they highlight different aspects and stories related to your professional and personal development over the years, especially in the recent ones.

In the application form for NUS-MBA where do we need to upload resume and salary slips? Under "others" in document upload section?

I have only stop working with my previous employer for 6 months at the point of submitting application.

The NUS application instructions state "Your referee(s) will be receiving an email notification on submission of referee report immediately after you have submitted your application online.". I have 2 questions. 1. Does it mean when I have submitted my application fully, THEN they will send out the referee form/link? Or they get it as soon as we assign them? 2. And if after application, then if I submit my application on deadline day (27 Oct), will it considered under R1, considering my referees will submit LoR after deadline?

The prompt should go to the referee as soon as you confirm their details in the application interface. You don't have to submit your completed application to have your referee fill out your recos.

madkat, from what I know, your recoemmenders need to submit the LOR by the R1 deadline for you to be eligible for R1 submission

*recommenders. Also, no one knows if there is a word limit on the recommenders’ answers? : \

Hey Guys. Is anyone else having trouble viewing opening their application? When I log into my account and go to "My Applications" section, it says no records found. However, when I go to "Basic Programme Info" section, I see my application there and can view it. But I can’t edit it :/ Any solutions?

How to apply for IELTS/TOEFL waiver? They have mentioned that we are eligible for the waiver if the mode of study in undergrad was English. But I don’t see an option to select the waiver in the application. Should we separately send them an email?

The deadline is 28th October itself. However I think that is in Singapore time, which is why people might be saying 27th (depends on which timezone you are in I guess)
