yea that is what it says on the regular site. On the admitted students website it says you have to apply by submitting an essay.

Something I need to get started on.

I wonder when they will start calling internationals.. I think many internationals from R1 are yet to receive an initial update... I applied R2 and I was told that for India & China the interview will be held in hub locations somewhere in March... So, it seems that they have so much time before scheduled dates that they are taking thr own sweet time before updating such applicants...

Same boat as you.. there have been a few Indians who have received invites and there have been cases of !Dings! to internationals as well.. So mixed thoughts - but dont know how much hope left?

for interview invites if I am not wrong.. I personally know couple of guys who are waiting for any kind of update since Nov 15... I think I did good by applying in R2... :) I hope Stern will update us in Feb coz March is hub interview month for us...

Yep. I was WLed last week three weeks after my 1/13 interview.

Has anyone who was interviewed by NYU actually waitlisted or dinged afterwards? It appears that everyone who interviewed got accepted, which obviously cannot be the case, since 60% from those interviewed are granted admission.

Anyone interview on Thursday as part of the Stern Spotlight on Women program hear anything? Or have any guesses when we might? I know they said sometime this week in the initial email, but I'm feeling quite anxious...

Yep, same situation with me. I submitted R2 on 1/10 and my video hasn't been viewed yet.

I didn't realize I needed to submit my official GMAT score report at the time I applied though, so my application didn't technically become complete until 1/31. The status check website said "Thank you for applying to NYU Stern. We have received your application, and it is currently under review by the Admissions Committee. Although there are items missing from your application, it is currently before the Committee and is being evaluated. Please submit any missing items as soon as possible." I don't really know whether this will affect the timing of my application review. Anyone else know whether this will delay their review?

I think they are pretty flexible about this sort of thing. The same thing happened to me (I applied R1) and I got my invite about a month after applying.
