In!!!! Just randomly checked the website and saw my decision was ready. Super tough decision now - gotta decide between NYU and Booth. I interviewed on campus on 04/04 - one week exactly for the decision.
Same here! Just checked the website after I saw your message.
Now I also have a super hard decision - between NYU, Ross and INSEAD.
Surprising that many were admitted without phone calls or emails. Congrats to the admitted! NYU Stern seriously needs to revamp their notification system.
can anyone point me to the right direction in terms of taking any supplementary course as part of improving my academic record.
gpa and gmat are not that great and i thought that either a quantitative course or any kind of course would be good to improve my academic record. looking for courses preferably in europe, or would have to look at the US, preferably nyc.
Can anyone give me some advice on Stern vs. Ross, from a career opportunities perspective for an international student (including the likelihood of getting in as well as the salaries), especially if the goal post-MBA is to get into a corporate strategy role either in a technology company or a financial institution, primarily in the west coast?
Damn, I paid them 215$ to know the decision , the deadline was 1 st april, WTF????!!!!!!! I WANT TO SEE THE DECISION REGARDING MY APPLICATION!
dude - take a chill pill. if you're so upset why don't you call/email adcom.

Agree that one needs to take these things in stride, but the fact that some R2 applicants - who applied in early January - are still waiting for initial notification is borderline absurd. Many such applicants have received other offers and need to make a decision about whether to put down a hefty deposit before they will hear whether they are invited to interview at Stern. This is particularly gut-wrenching for candidates who rank NYU as their top choice.
Applicants put a lot of work - and money - into their applications and apply with the expectation that they will hear back by the notification date provided. Schools that fail to adhere to their notification schedule are simply not living up to their end of the bargain. And that's just not cool. My $0.02.
Has anyone who was waitlisted w/o interview for R2 subsequently been asked to interview?

I'm certainly not an authority on this issue, but I highly doubt it. Per the posts above, there is still a handful of R2 applicants that have not received initial notification. It would be doubly unfair if waitlisted applicants were invited to interview before these applicants hear *something* regarding the status of their applications.
I interviewed for Summer Start yesterday on campus. The interview is no different from someone interviewing for a regular August start - in fact we didnt discuss Summer Start until the very end of the meeting. The questions were all behavioral, walk me through your resume, why mba, why stern, etc. Best advice is to be relaxed and excited about Stern (which it seems like you already are so thats good).
