Hi guys,

I submitted my application in round 2 the day of the deadline (15th of January) and they received my essay 3 later, I have been sent the mail on 24th of January !

Should I be worried ? how many people form this forum have already been invted to round 2 interviews ?

I submitted my application a few hours before the deadline. Very honestly, I don't think there's a pattern to when you submit application and when you receive an invite. Just hang in there if you haven't received an invite yet - it's on the way! :)

I am a R2 applicant based in canada. I got my interview invite on Feb 1. I'm sure that yours in on its way. The invites seem very scattered - I think you will find out when they review your application. I am waiting on my final decision - I hope that you get your invite soon!

Its too early to be getting anxious. Only a handful of invites have gone out. 4-6 weeks is the average time frame for Stern to reply, some taking even longer. So keep the stress in control, theres still plenty of time for an invite.

Submitted on the deadline date,Indian citizen currently working in the US, consulting 4 yrs WE, 730 GMAT- I hope Stern will give me a call! Just curious if they are sending invites geographically- In that case will i be grouped under my origin nation or where I live?

I'm interviewing next week with Stern and I'm pretty anxious. Can anyone that has interviewed shed some light on the experience? Do they ask a lot of situational questions and look for good examples or are they more focused on why you want to go to Stern and how you would fit?

I had my interview about a month back....WL'd.....but I can share on my experience. My interview was very much about knowing Stern and knowing yourself and how the two will work together.

Tell me 3 things about Stern that appeal to you the most? What would you be involved in at Stern? Why an MBA? Tell me 5 companies you would like to work with? What about a back up plan if you can't transition into your desired field? What is a challenge you think you will face if you transition into the new field?

But it was very laid back and very conversational. Incredibly friendly staff. The interview started with asking me about some of my personal interest on the resume.
