I received a full-tuition scholarship for both years, but I do not think that is the case for everyone. One of my friends just received $20k a year, so I do not think there is any rule that says it has to be all or nothing.

Is everyone who has been admitted attending the admitted students weekend in April? I am excited to meet everyone!
sorry, should've clarified...i know there are definitely NOT only full-tuition scholarships; they range from all amounts (very small, to full-rides). i guess what i'm asking is, is that the max? has anyone seen any scholarships (at stern or other schools) that also covered living expenses or something?

and question for you, allaboutmimi13...yours is guaranteed for both years or is it the second year pending that you're in good standing?

i'm not sure if i'm coming to the admit weekend yet. all the schools have the same 2 weekends for their admit weekends so i need to figure out where to go (still waiting to hear back from a school).

I have not heard anything about more than full tuition scholarships... wouldnt that be nice, especially in such an expensive city. Mine is "re-newable" providing that I am in good standing. Several people that I have talked to say this is pretty standard - did they note anything different for you?

Which other schools are you considering, if you dont mind me asking?

Okay so I interviewed off-campus on 12th. There was some document missing from my application, so I received an email for that on 19th and I responded back by 20th. Haven't heard anything from them yet...should I press the panic button yet? :)

Not been having a good week (with Kellogg and Booth)!

i'm still waiting to hear back from kellogg but i'm already debating between booth, stern, and ross. i see that you chose stern over booth...may i ask what your reasoning was?

Several reasons - I used to live in NYC and I think the opportunities to network there far surpass Chicago (my personal experience - many would disagree). Also, I am in the entertainment industry, and Stern has relationships with many of the companies that I would like to work for. As cliched as it sounds, Stern really just felt like a better fit for me.

Good luck in your decision! Congrats on your scholarship as well!

My terms were the same...renewable providing I'm in good academic standing. Seems to be the standard phrasing

thanks! i'm leaning towards stern for a lot of the same reasons...i want to get into luxury retail so the nyc advantage is huge.

Are there any international applicants for R3? Or am I the only one :?

You are not alone. I am an international applicant for R3 as well.

Do you know when should we expect to first hear from the school on whether we would be extended an interview, waitlisted, or rejected?

Another R3 international applicant here. I really want Stern, so it took me an unforgivably long time to be happy with my application. Any idea what our chances are? I already got accepted with $ for some other schools, and it's driving me crazy waiting for word from Stern.

So when the admission status changes and you receive the email, does that online letter have the scholarship info? I have nothing in mine => I have no scholarships?

Waitlisted. At least it's not a rejection.

I hope they give me a shot. I hope I get one more chance to prove myself.
