Anyone know what sort of stuff Kroll asks and how strict/critical is the process?

I am in my 6th week... About 2 weeks ago Kroll contacted me telling me they had difficulties getting in touch with my employer. I sent them some documents proving dates, salary and title. Since then no news.
I am an international so that might explain why it's taking so long.
This whole MBA application process has proven to be a real game of patience!

Hey mbagirl23, worry not, I just got verified a few days ago. Unfortunately they do take a while (and don't necessarily keep you updated) but I am sure it will come through. Which country are you from?

I'm French. I'm not really worried, I'm just anxious to quit my job! I work in M&A and haven't had any life at all for a long time. I know I could quit before the process is over but I figured it's probably best to wait in case they need a paper or anything.

Yeah, no worries. We have strangely similar profiles (although I got rejected at Booth, haha). I work in M&A too out of Mumbai/Singapore so I completely get what you mean. I am quitting May 31 :) These last 20 months have been life sucking

I was accepted into Stern, but decided not attend (fairly certain I am attending Ross). I informed the admissions team so I hope this opens up my spot for GMAT clubber on the waitlist!

i'm really confused now. after my interview on Mar. 13th, I haven't heard anything from Stern. my status said that up to three weeks since my interview day, I could have a decision. But now, it has been more than three weeks...what happened?

Xiaxiaqin, are you based out in China (just going off the name)? I interviewed in Shanghai, also on March 13th, and I have also not heard any news back from the admissions office. I think in my case that it took a little while for them to properly file my official transcript. It's a little bit irritating, but I can assure you that you are not alone.

I interviewed in Shanghai. But all my materials are brought to Maggie that day. it's really suffering waiting. It has been three days more than three weeks.

Just got the admission invitation. Do you know if they inform you of any scholarship money in the letter? If they don't mention anything, are you out of luck?

i got the admission too. there's no scholarship in the online letter, it will be mentioned on the mailed package if any.
