Hi everyone,

Just got accepted at Stern. Here's my timeline:

1.15 submitted
2.24 interview invited
3.22 interviewed
4.9 admitted

Almost 3 weeks to get an answer. For those out there still waiting, a late answer can also be a positive answer. Good luck!

Invited to interview: 3/7
Interviewed: 3/29
Accepted: 4/9

Does anyone know if the admitted student needs to make the deposit before getting the permission to join the facebook group for class of 2014? Thanks guys!

Folks- Does anyone know if Stern will extend the deposit date by a few days or so? I am still waiting to hear from another school.. any idea on how to approach this will be most helpful!

Stern does not. Rumor is, most get Bs and a few get As.

So what does the final acceptance/ding email look like? Are both simply a "status update" from Stern where you have to check your application? Or can you tell more from the subject/email content?

So what does the final acceptance/ding email look like? Are both simply a "status update" from Stern where you have to check your application? Or can you tell more from the subject/email content?

In my case I received first a "status update" email from Stern. You have to go in the "check your status" website and then open a status update letter in pdf.
About an hour later I received an email from the admission person I had the interview with contratulating me for my acceptance.
I have heard few people that actually received a call, I would say most people have been notified only with the standard status change email.

Anyone else have any update on the Kroll process and how long it tends to take? It took Kroll about two weeks to conduct my actual check because they had issues getting in touch with one of my previous employers.

Now, I believe my file is with NYU. Anyone have any idea what the timeline is once NYU receives the report?
