I applied in RD1 for 2 years accelerated program. I submitted my application on 2/15, and got my offer within 10 days.
all the best to you guys. fingers crossed. :D

Congratulations! Interested to know which program are you in? Weekend or weeknights? All the best!

Cheers!

I'm in the 2 years accelerated program, which has both weeknights and weekend classes. :( It will be tough but I want to finish this program asap.

Just got waitlisted today, anybody have any experience with ways to get off the waitlist? I guess I could try to retake EA but I already got a 162 and am getting crushed studying for CFA L3 a couple months from now so don't know if I have enough study time to confidently get a higher score.

My impression from last semester's process is that quite a few people got in off the waitlist. There certainly is reason to be hopeful I think. When did you apply?

Hey everyone, Weekend Part-Time admit here.

Issued my application (Including Letters of a recommendation) on 3/30 and received the admissions acceptance on 4/9. No interview.

For everyone’s reference, my background is working as an engineer consultant in the energy/utility industry. My GPA/GMAT were slightly below the average posted values, but still received admission. With a clear and concise essay and application, there’s still hope!

Good luck for any others still awaiting the admissions decision!

After being put on the wait list, I just recently received an email asking if I want to be considered for the Spring semester. If I accept, I fill out a form. Does anyone have insight on what this means? Is it good news? Does it no longer mean that they are considering me for the fall semester? Would love more insight. Thanks!

Probably yes! They might have lot of applications for fall already and might have space in spring. When did you apply and heard back on the waitlist? Can you share some details ?AlphaGRE61

Ya I applied R1 and heard back about the waitlist in the second week of March. I have strong WE of about 40 months, 3.2 GPA, but my test scores are on the lower end. Unfortunately, I think that's what is holding me back. Re-taking the GRE exam in hopes that I get accepted. Stern is my top choice. I'm so confident that I want to go there that I didn't apply anywhere else

Hoping to hear some positive news!

Appreciate that anecdotal insight. I applied very late, score report was submitted third week of March for Accelerated 2-Year (Choice #1) and Weeknights (Choice #2). There is an option to also write an essay reiterating commitment to Stern, which I'll probably do.

Given this is the breakdown from the Fall 2020 class, I would have to guess it doesn't hurt you overtly.

Test Considered for Admission
GMAT: 31%
GRE: 18%
EA: 9%
None - met test waiver requirements: 42%

I wonder what the breakdown was for applicants. Knowing 42% of admits waived is helpful, but if that number is significantly different from the applicant pool it could mean something different. Also some other stats conditional on using the exam waiver. The average GPA will certainly be higher given that there is a GPA floor for exercising the waiver but by how much would be interesting.

Unfortunately that's part of the secret sauce, I would certainly love to know as well. My gut prediction is that GMAT scores will actually be higher this admissions year (at least for full time), since applicants had more time to study/less distractions, but only time will tell.

Yes! I applied March 31 and just yesterday received an offer of admission to the Saturday option.
